Navigators help public enroll in insurance by Jan. 31 deadline

Health Insurance Marketplace Navigators from WellFlorida Council are providing free enrollment assistance to help individuals and families enroll or re-enroll in health insurance prior to the Jan. 31 deadline. Navigators can help explain your options and walk you through the steps to enroll in an insurance plan on Healthcare.gov that meets your needs and budget. Search for enrollment events on NCFNavigators.org or contact a Navigator in North Central Florida by calling 352-299-0380.

Below are just a few of the upcoming enrollment events:

Saturday, Jan. 23, 10 a.m.–3 p.m., Marion County Public Library, 2720 E Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala Spanish-speaking Navigators will be available

Saturday, Jan. 23, 9 a.m.–3 p.m., Jasper Library, 311 Hatley St. E, Jasper

Tuesday, Jan. 26, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., Bradford County Public Library, 456 W Pratt St., Starke

Thursday, Jan. 28, 8 a.m. – 11 a.m., Palms Medical Group, 911 S Main St., Trenton

Saturday, Jan. 30, 10 a.m.–4 p.m., Santa Fe College CIED, West University Ave., Gainesville

Saturday, Jan. 30, 10 a.m.–3 p.m., Columbia County Public Library West Branch, 435 NW Hall of Fame Dr., Lake City
Sunday, Jan. 31, 1 p.m.– 5 p.m., Millhopper Branch Library, 3145 NW 43rd St., Gainesville

WellFlorida Council, the local health council and consultant for health causes for the region, oversees the health Insurance Marketplace Navigator program for 15 counties in North Central Florida.
