Community members, including healthcare providers, of Dixie, Gilchrist and Levy counties are invited to share their views on health and healthcare by taking a 10-minute survey at www.WellFlorida.org. Survey participants will have the opportunity to win a $25 gift card. Survey results, along with research and health related data, will be used to assess the county’s most pressing health needs. Alachua County will be providing free summer meals for kids and teens ages 0 to 18.  Download the Summer Meals flier for information on locations and anticipated meal times. Diabetes self-management education (DSME) is a required evidence-based component of diabetes management as it significantly improves patient outcomes.
